The Swing Effect are a Swing band that feature some of the best Jazz musicians in the UK.

Between them, they have performed at the most prestigious music venues and hotels in the country, and the biggest cruise liners in the world!

As well as bringing the life and soul to your party, they will work very closely with you right from the very beginning, not only providing bespoke arrangements of songs you love for your first dance, ceremony or party,  but also guidance and inspiration every step of the way.

Swinging their way through the best of the 1920’s with well known classics such as ‘Summertime’  and ‘The Way You Look Tonight’  to  songs from Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Arctic Monkeys and more – think modern popular music played with an old-time jazz feel.

The Swing Effect performs  as a 6 piece band, but, can also come as a jazz quintet, quartet, trio and duo.

The Swing Effect have a bespoke set list which are unique to the band

• Can I Request a song which isn’t on their set list? Of course you can just give us a call let us know well in advance and we can get in touch with the band
• Can you set-up earlier? – Yes! Great if you want to avoid disturbing the ambience if everything is taking place in the same room.
• Can you finish later? – Yes! whilst most venues are licensed until midnight, they realise that many are fine to continue the celebrations until 1am 

The time and effort they  put into creating set lists is of great importance to them. Everything they perform for you, has been arranged by their co-founder and Double Bass player Tom.
This means their bespoke arrangements of classic jazz standards and swing tunes, to the postmodern jukebox style songs, are completely unique to The Swing Effect.
