Boulevard Soul were established in 2018 in the vibrant city of Bristol, Boulevard Soul are a collective of highly experienced musicians with a passion for performing; providing a high quality and professional experience, with an exciting and diverse range of music for all ages and events. Boulevard Soul pride themselves in adding a unique spin to a diverse range of Pop, Funk, Soul and Contemporary classics, guaranteed to get dance floors moving!

Dave
Having first picked up a bass guitar at the age of 11 as part of the school rock band, Dave has gone on to play with a wide variety of Blues, Funk and Soul bands throughout Bristol and his hometown of Stroud. With musical influences such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jamiroquai and Snarky Puppy, Dave’s passion for bass and music in general has led him to give up a promising career as an engineer in pursuit of his dreams. Winning £20 in Stroud Battle of The Bands remains his ultimate musical achievement and is unlikely to be topped!
James
Hailing from the vibrant musical hub of London, James has been exploring his passion for percussion for the last 15 years. With extensive live playing and recording experience, in genres spanning grunge rock to blues, big band swing to live hip hop and Motown to classic old school funk, James is a true student of groove and is guaranteed to keep your dance floor moving!
Max
Max is our resident 6-string-slinger. Having picked up the guitar aged 10 he has gone on to play in many bands and sessions throughout the years, both on stage and in the studio. Being also a professional Sound Engineer, Max brings his expertise to Boulevard Soul to help us sound as good as we can possibly be at your event!
Hannah
Graduating from the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music in 2015 with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Professional Musicianship, Hannah has a vast amount of experience performing as a lead singer and backing vocalist. Over the last 8 years, Hannah has worked alongside a wide variety of musicians and industry professionals, performing a wide variety of musical styles both on stage and in the studio. Inspired by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Audioslave & AC/DC, Hannah loves nothing more than combining soulful vocals with a high energy performance!
Jess
Jess has wide reaching experience in a variety of musical styles. Over the last 4 years since arriving in Bristol from Scotland she has regularly performed in musical theatre productions, an all female A Capella group and as a lead singer both on stage and in the studio. Jess’ powerful range and sweet Soul tones are a sure-fire way to make your hairs stand on edge!
Thomas
Purveyor of keyboard and accordion, Thomas has been playing music for almost 15 years. His musical journey began in High School playing grunge and moved onto classical having studied at the University of Western Sydney. Since 2012 Thomas has travelled the world playing all kinds of music from Klezmer, Swing, Gypsy Jazz, Folk all the way to Funk and jazz. Currently residing in Bristol he runs several exciting groups including Kezva and Gypsy Rose.
